Asha Blake is a five-time Emmy Award-winning television journalist, entrepreneur, and media coach. Born on August 20, 1961, in Guyana, she was raised in Toronto and Minnesota. Blake earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota.

her career spans over two decades in U.S. broadcast journalism. She has anchored national newscasts for ABC and NBC, including “World News Now,” “World News This Morning,” and “Good Morning America Sunday.” In 1999, she co-hosted NBC’s “Later Today,” a spinoff of the “Today” show, alongside Jodi Applegate and Florence Henderson.
