Maria Quiban is a Filipino-American meteorologist and television personality. She is the weather anchor for KTTV Fox 11 in Los Angeles, where she has been delivering forecasts for the station’s morning show, Good Day LA, for many years.
Quiban began her broadcasting career in Hawaii before moving to Los Angeles. In addition to her weather reporting, she has made cameo appearances in several TV shows and films, often portraying a news anchor or meteorologist.
She is also an author and advocate for brain cancer awareness, inspired by her late husband, Sean Whitesell, who passed away from the disease.
