The nephew of veteran Los Angeles television anchor Paul Moyer, Micah Ohlman is an Emmy Award-winning journalist who currently co-anchors the weekday editions of the KTLA News at 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 10 p.m. He was born on May 4, 1972, in Torrance, California. Ohlman started his career in 1998 at KULR-TV in Billings, Montana, and later worked at WTVJ-TV in Miami and KABC-TVin Los Angeles before joining KTLA in 2009.
Throughout his career, Ohlman has covered numerous significant events, including the Beltway Snipers killing spree and the state funeral of former President Ronald Reagan. He has also reported on major stories in Southern California and covered international stories, such as the return of Vietnamese-American adoptees to Vietnam.
Micah Ohlman is married to Colleen Ohlman, and they have three children together. The family maintains a relatively private life, away from media scrutiny.
