Michaela Pereira is a Canadian-American television news anchor and journalist. She is best known for her role as a co-host on CNN’s New Day morning show. Before joining CNN, she was a popular anchor on KTLA’s Morning News in Los Angeles, where she worked for nine years.
Pereira later hosted her own daytime show, MichaeLA, on HLN, covering human interest stories and current events. She also worked as an anchor for Good Day LA on KTTV Fox 11 in Los Angeles. Known for her warm and engaging on-air presence, Pereira has been recognized with multiple Emmy Awards for her broadcasting work.
