Tom Snyder was an American television news anchor, radio personality, and talk show host known for his distinctive interviewing style and laid-back, conversational tone. He gained national fame as the host of NBC’s The Tomorrow Show (1973–1982), where he interviewed a wide range of guests, including celebrities, politicians, and cultural figures.

Before his talk show career, Snyder worked as a news anchor and reporter for local stations, including KNBC-TV in Los Angeles and WMAQ-TV in Chicago. He was known for his deep voice, casual manner, and signature line: “Fire up a colortini and watch the pictures as they fly through the air.”

In the 1990s, Snyder hosted The Late Late Show with Tom Snyder on CBS, which featured more intimate, long-form interviews. He passed away in 2007 from complications of leukemia.
